GRAPHIUM

Graphium is conceptually a visual oxymoron on various levels. A solid material, like marble, appears light and almost intangible, resting on a slender structure that clearly references the nature of butterfly wings, which are inherently graphic and symmetrical. A manifestation of the harmony of opposites, highlighted by the indissoluble bond between artifice and nature, optical illusion and reality.
